Italian Local activities
a) SPORT AND LANDSCAPE – Photowalk in the Regional Park of Monte Subasio
For the Erasmus Days 2021, we organised an event in the Regional Park of Monte Subasio.
It was organised in collaboration with the Association G.M.P. GAIA APS and the Municipality of Spello, with the collaboration of Nicola Cirocchi, a professional photographer which is a member of Travelogue APS.
52 people of all ages attended the event: there were many families with children and some seniors too.
The event consisted of a trekking in the mountain with the photographer who explained some basic rules of landscape photography and a geologist
At the arrival of participants, the RASI project was presented to the participants, as well as the opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ programme in the field of Sport, delivering the leaflets of the project, inviting the participants to visit its website.
A photo contest was held in the social networks, with an award for the photo with more likes. The winning photo was printed and donated to the author.
The contest allowed us to give more resonance to the event, and visibility to our association, the project and to the Erasmus+ programme, because we asked the participants to share their photos on Facebook and Instagram with the tag @travelogue.aps and the hashtag #erasmusdays.
b) Battle of the Sexes: Movie and visibility event
Travelogue APS participated in the movie festival organised in collaboration with the Municipality of San Venanzo and Sequenze Frequenze APS, with movies related to the theme of sports and called “Pronti, partenza… Cinema! lo sport come non lo avete mai fatto”.
We chose the movie “The Battle of the Sexes” in order to talk about gender stereotypes and differences in the field of sports. Before the movie we presented the Erasmus+ programme, the opportunities offered in the field of Sport and some Erasmus+ projects in which Travelogue APS is involved. We presented the RASI project, its objectives and activities delivering leaflets to the participants.
c) Sport and learning activities
We organised an event for children and youngsters from 5 to 14 years old. It was organised in the natural park of Monte Peglia in San Venanzo. It consisted of 2 workshops for increasing awareness of ecological topics and responsible nutrition.
Unfortunately the event was canceled because we didn’t receive enough registrations (registration was mandatory because of Covid regulations).
d) Bees game
We organised a sport game for children of the Primary School of San Venanzo.
The game was organised as follows:
After a short ice-breaking game, we divided the children in two teams.
In a circle or behind a line, a team, representing bees, had to avoid the balls that another team of children (insecticides) was throwing at them.
The insecticide teams cannot move, but they had to remain within 5 meters. The goal for the team that has the balls was to hit as many bees as possible.
The game was played twice by reversing roles.
Variant 1: Participants had to answer questions related to the life of bees before the ball was thrown. The first team to respond decided the location of the insecticides. If the insecticides responded correctly they could take a step forward, if they were wrong they had to take a step back and vice versa.
Variant 2: The questions were asked once to bees and once to insecticides.
The questions were written on cards to choose. Answers could also be given in groups.
